Kate is a writer, tutor and workshop facilitator specialising in writing for wellbeing, growth and change. She is passionate about words and their ability to enhance our daily lives, from relaxation to self-discovery to thriving at work. With a background in marketing & communications, Kate began exploring the world of writing for wellbeing & self-development formally in 2012. Since then, she has run workshops for a diverse range of audiences and has become an active member of the research community. Kate is a tutor for WriteWell, and is the founder of WriteToRelax.com – a website born out of her desire to reduce stress and spark creativity after becoming a new mum. She is a member of Lapidus International, the International Wellbeing-Through-Writing Institute and also NAWE (National Association of Writers in Education). Heather is a writer and writing for wellbeing practitioner. Having taught English and Creative Writing in colleges, schools and prisons, she now facilitates writing workshops in a range of contexts. These focus on the writing process and its potential for enhancing wellbeing and encouraging self-development. Heather has run a journal writing programme in a women’s prison, as well as providing workshops for mental health groups, churches and the wider community. She has completed training in writing for therapeutic purposes with the Orchard Foundation and the Professional Writing Academy, and has a Foundation Certificate in Humanistic Counselling Skills and Studies from the Metanoia Institute.
